Common spelling mistakes in English: full versus ful.

However, you can avoid spelling mistakes if you pay extra attention to them.

Full versus ful
The incorrect use of full and ful is a spelling mistake that is easily avoided once you understand the difference:
- Full is an adjective.
- Ful is at the end of an adjective and means 'full of'.
Example
- A full train
- A helpful explanation (an explanation full of help)
Another tip
- A beautiful dress; maybe you remember that you can often turn an adjective into an adverb by adding 'ly', for example
- A beautifully elegant dress
Then you will also see that 'beautiful' can only be written with one 'l'.
